Course Outcomes (CO)<\/u><\/strong><\/span> address the abilities to be attained by the students upon the completion of a course. Focus on what we want the student to be able to do.<\/p>\n

Components of a CO:<\/u><\/strong> <\/span>Action Verb (V) + Condition (C) + Standard (S)\u00e0 Define in such a way so that they can actually be measured.<\/p>\n

Outcomes should be SMART<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Specific<\/strong>: \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 concrete, detailed, well defined<\/p>\n

Measurable<\/strong>: \u00a0\u00a0 numbers, quantify, comparison<\/p>\n

Achievable<\/strong>:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 feasible, actionable<\/p>\n

Realistic<\/strong>: \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 considering resources<\/p>\n

Time bound<\/strong>: \u00a0\u00a0 a defined timeline<\/p>\n

Poor CO:<\/strong>\u00a0 Calculate magnitude and direction of Current.<\/span><\/p>\n
