LLCB serves two kinds of students precisely: those who enrolled in the Department of English, and those enrolled in other departments of the university and need intensive English language knowledge in order to meet minimum language requirements. It provides an empowering opportunity to school students to develop their skills and explore their abilities in written, spoken and visual form through the use of critical and imaginative approach to English language. Students&#8217; skills are individually developed in reading, writing, listening, speaking, viewing and representing.<\/p>\n<p>LLCB is structured specifically to enhance the students\u2019 knowledge in the art of communication in English and advance the general skills in social discourse as a way to develop linguistic diversity in real life situations. The activities of the club are geared towards creating opportunities to develop effective communication amongst its members. LLCB organized a three-day <em>Poetry Recitation Workshop<\/em> from 20 to 22 March 2017. Rhetorician, poet and lyricist Amina Ansary and radio jockey Md. Kalim Uddin were the invited instructors of the workshop.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/bauet.ac.bd\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/LLCB1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2729\" src=\"https:\/\/bauet.ac.bd\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/LLCB1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"720\" height=\"324\" \/><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>2. LLCB organized <strong><em>Spell Buzz Competition<\/em><\/strong> and prize giving ceremony on 12 December 2017. Mohonto Moharaj Khitish Chandra Achary of Mohonto Estate, Chapai Nawabganj was invited as a distinguished guest who donated a laptop to the club.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bauet.ac.bd\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/LLCB2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2730\" src=\"https:\/\/bauet.ac.bd\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/LLCB2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"720\" height=\"479\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n3.\u00a0 LLCB staged a drama on 27 March 2018 against drug addiction called <strong><em>\u09a4\u09c1\u09ae\u09bf<\/em><\/strong> <strong><em>\u09b9\u09be\u0981\u099f\u09b2\u09c7\u0987<\/em><\/strong> <strong><em>\u09b9\u09c7\u0981\u099f\u09c7<\/em><\/strong> <strong><em>\u0986\u09b8\u09ac\u09c7<\/em><\/strong> <strong><em>\u09aa\u09a5<\/em><\/strong> .<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bauet.ac.bd\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/LLCB3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2731\" src=\"https:\/\/bauet.ac.bd\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/LLCB3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"720\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>4. LLCB organized an <strong><em>Extempore Speech Competition<\/em><\/strong> on 29 October 2019.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bauet.ac.bd\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/LLCB4.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-2732\" src=\"https:\/\/bauet.ac.bd\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/LLCB4-1024x244.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"244\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n5. LLCB organized its first online presentation contest called <strong><em>AVENTIA &#8211; The Ultimate Presentation Battle<\/em><\/strong> on 21 October 2020. The topic of the presentation was \u201cCOVID-19 and Online Education\u201d. Honourable Vice Chancellor Brigadier General Prof M.
