Short Biography:
Dr. Apurba Roy is working as an Associate Professor of Economics at the Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম of Barishal, Bangladesh and Adjunct Research Fellow in the Te Āwhionukurangi - Chair in the Economics of Disasters and Climate Change at Victoria Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম of Wellington, New Zealand. Apurba obtained his PhD in Economics from the School of Economics and Finance, Victoria Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম of Wellington, New Zealand. His current research focuses on the economics of extreme weather events. Dr. Roy has also served as the Director of Research at the Bangladesh Relief Initiative for Communities in Khulna (BRICK), Virginia, USA. He graduated from Khulna Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম, Bangladesh with a Bachelor and Master's (Thesis) Degree with distinction majoring in Economics. He was awarded a Chancellor Gold Medal and a Prime Minister Gold Medal Award for his excellent academic achievements.
Dr. Roy was a recipient of a doctoral scholarship from the Chair in the Economics of Disasters and Climate Change, Victoria Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম of Wellington, New Zealand.
