Short Biography:
Md. Ohidur Zaman is an Associate Professor of Sociology at the Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম of Barishal, Bangladesh, and was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Sociology from the Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম of Lucknow, India (April, 2026). He previously completed his Masters degree in Sociology from Shahjalal Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম of Science & Technology, Bangladesh, securing first position.
Since joining the Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম of Barishal in 2016, Dr. Zaman has been actively engaged in teaching a wide range of courses, including Social Statistics, Research Methodology, and Contemporary and Postmodern Sociological Theories. His academic and research interests focus on community resilience, natural resource management, disaster management, and broader socio-environmental issues, particularly in the context of climate-vulnerable regions.
Dr. Zaman has supervised several Masters theses and has led several research projects addressing contemporary socio-ecological challenges. His work contributes to advancing knowledge on resilience and sustainable development in disaster-prone communities.
In addition to his academic responsibilities, he is actively involved in professional and voluntary engagements, including serving as Treasurer of the Barishal Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম Teachers' Association. His scholarly and professional endeavors reflect a strong commitment to education, research excellence, and the pursuit of socially relevant knowledge.
