Md. Zakir Hossain Howlader is a Professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম of Deltin 7 bangladesh. He began his academic journey as an undergraduate student in the Department of Biochemistry in 1986 (academic session 1985–1986). He completed his B.Sc. (Honours) degree in 1991 (examination scheduled for 1988) and his M.Sc. degree in 1993 (examination scheduled for 1989), both in Biochemistry. Following his postgraduate studies, he joined the IFST Laboratory of the Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (BCSIR), Deltin 7 bangladesh, as a Scientific Officer. In 1995, he joined the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম of Deltin 7 bangladesh as a Lecturer.

Professor Howlader earned his Ph.D. in Nutritional and Clinical Biochemistry from the Graduate School of Agriculture, Tohoku Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম, Japan, under the prestigious Monbukagakusho (MEXT) Scholarship. Subsequently, he conducted postdoctoral research (2010–2011) at the Division of Food Science and Biotechnology, Graduate School of Agriculture, Kyoto Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম, Japan.

His current research focuses on nutrition and public health issues in Bangladesh, particularly vitamin D deficiency and its impact on human health. His studies investigate the role of genetic variations in vitamin D–related genes and other metabolic pathway genes in the development of non-communicable diseases, including coronary artery disease, breast cancer, and acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

Throughout his academic career, Professor Howlader has supervised more than 50 M.S. students, 3 Ph.D. students, and 1 M.Phil. student, and has co-supervised an additional Ph.D. student. Currently, he is supervising 6 Ph.D. students and 5 M.S. students. He has published 75 research articles in peer-reviewed journals, authored two book chapters, and edited one academic book.
