Khairul Chowdhury is a sociologist with a doctoral degree in cultural anthropology and is currently an associate professor of sociology at the Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম of Deltin 7 bangladesh. He has published scholarly journal articles and book chapters with leading publishing houses including Routledge and the Brill. His work involves critically examining ethnicity, nationalism, indigenous peoples, forests, frontiers, and state and social transformation in South Asia, especially Chittagong Hill Tract Bangladesh.

Dr. Chowhury is mainly interested in frontier regions in South and Southeast Asia and their relations to colonial and postcolonial states to examine global narratives and theories through marginal spaces, peoples and ecologies, in particular indigenous peoples, forests and agrarian change. He builds his approach to truth and knowledge on critical understanding of Marxism, postpositivist science and linguistic philosophies. His current research wishes to examine local ideas of development in Bangladesh since 20th century.

Dr. Chowhury teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses in the department of sociology at the Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম of Deltin 7 bangladesh and East-West Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম; supervise undergraduate and graduate students' research locally and internationally; and work as an independent researcher and a professional consultant in the areas of forestry, conservation, and indigenous peoples, as a regional editor and coordinator (Bangladesh) of the international sociological magazine, Global Dialogue, published by International Sociological Association (ISA), and as a reviewer of many local and international journals.
