On November 20, ahead of the World Cup, I shared my predictions on Facebook, forecasting results for all rounds, including the semi-finals, and promised to reveal the finalists later. On December 3, during a discussion on Ekattor TV, I predicted Argentina would beat France 3-2 in the final, which I also detailed in a article on December 5. Remarkably, my prediction was accurate: Argentina defeated France to become the 2022 World Cup champions.

Research Interests and Overview

Hasinur Khan specializes in high-dimensional data analysis, focusing on variable selection, model selection using regularized techniques, and statistical inference with censored data, particularly in Statistical Genomics, Bioinformatics, and Biostatistics. His research interests extend to Statistical Computing, Machine Learning, Public Health, Bayesian Statistics, and Social Statistics. He also offers consultancy in statistical and data science, guiding study design, data analysis, interpretation, policy implications, and all statistical aspects of business and academic research. He has been involved in consultancy with many reputed national and international organizations.

Hasinur Khan has published over 49 papers, 4 books, and 6 R packages. He has supervised numerous graduate and undergraduate research projects and taught diverse courses domestically and internationally. He has presented research at over 21 international conferences in 12 countries and received multiple awards, including the prestigious Conference Award for Scientists (CASc) from the International Society for Clinical Biostatistics (ISCB) in 2015 and 2016, and the Deltin 7 Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম Science Faculty Dean’s Award in 2014, 2016, and 2019 for research excellence. Dr. Khan has secured more than a dozen national and international research grants. He is a member of the ‘s institutional review board, serves as an editor for Journal of Statistical Research, PLOS One, Chest, and the Journal of Biomedical Analytics, and contributes to scientific committees for various international conferences, including the , , the ), and the , ), the International Conference on Control and Computer Vision (, , ), the 2nd Asia Conference on Algorithms, , (DMPI2024). He is a member of the technical committee for the National Primary Education Survey 2022. He was the founding president of the Institute of Statistical Research and Training Alumni Association () executive committee for 2018-2022. He is the managing director of the Data Analytics Solution in Bangladesh (DaSiB), a virtual platform.
