She completed her SSC and HSC from Viqarunessa Noon School and Viqarunessa Noon College, respectively. Her research interests include migration, refugee, border and security governance, local government, peace and conflict, immigration and integration policy, anti-racism, rights, justice, and gender, Canadian politics, and Middle East politics.
