The International Conference on Applied Statistics and Data Science 2025 (ICASDS-2025) was successfully held on 28–29 December 2025 at the Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban, Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম of Deltin 7 bangladesh. The conference was organised by the Institute of Statistical Research and Training (ISRT) under the theme “Data-Driven Solutions: Unlocking New Possibilities.”
The two-day international conference brought together academicians, researchers, policymakers, and professionals from Bangladesh and abroad to discuss recent developments in applied statistics, data science, and analytics, and to explore how data-driven approaches can effectively address contemporary challenges across diverse sectors.
As part of the conference programme, several pre-conference workshops were held on 27 December 2025, where national and international experts conducted hands-on training sessions on modern techniques in statistics, data science, machine learning, and applied analytics. The workshops attracted strong participation from researchers, students, and professionals, contributing significantly to capacity building and knowledge exchange ahead of the main conference.
The inaugural session of ICASDS-2025 took place on Sunday, 28 December 2025, and was attended by Professor Dr. Mamun Ahmed, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Academic) of the Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম of Deltin 7 bangladesh, as the Chief Guest. In his address, he emphasised the growing importance of statistics and data science in evidence-based decision-making, policy formulation, and sustainable development. He noted that while data is increasingly shaping governance, healthcare, education, and economic planning, its responsible use requires strong analytical foundations, ethical considerations, and contextual understanding.
Professor Dr. Ahmed Mushtaque Raza Chowdhury, Professor of Population and Family Health at Columbia Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম, USA, and Trustee of BRAC Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম, attended the inaugural session as the Special Guest. In his speech, he highlighted the critical role of data-driven research in addressing public health challenges and social inequalities, particularly in developing countries.
The inaugural session was presided over by Professor Dr. Tamanna Howlader, Director of ISRT and Conference Chair of ICASDS-2025. She noted that the conference aimed to strengthen collaboration among academia, industry, and policymakers, and to bridge the gap between statistical education and emerging global demands in data science. She also highlighted ISRT’s continued commitment to advancing applied statistics and data science education and research in Bangladesh.
The conference programme featured keynote lectures, technical paper presentations, panel discussions, and interactive exchanges covering a wide range of topics, including statistical learning, machine learning, data analytics, computational methods, and real-world applications of data science. Participants actively engaged in discussions on methodological innovation, ethical data use, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Organisers stated that ICASDS-2025 served not only as a platform for sharing cutting-edge research outcomes but also as a forum for fostering long-term academic and professional collaboration.
