Closing Ceremony of One-Month Civil Engineering Students’ Internship Program (CESIP) held at LGED, Natore
The closing ceremony of the one-month Civil Engineering Students’ Internship Program (CESIP) was held on Wednesday, 14 January 2026, at Local Government Engineering Department (LGED), Natore. The program was organized by LGED, Natore for third-year students of the Civil Engineering Department, Bangladesh Army Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম of Engineering & Technology (BAUET).
The Honorable Vice Chancellor of BAUET, Brig Gen S M Lutfor Rahman, attended the program as the Chief Guest, while Engr Iqbal Hossain, Executive Engineer (XEN), LGED, Natore, chaired the session. Other attendees included Col Md Shawkat Hossain, psc (Retd), Treasurer, BAUET; Dr Engr Md Mahmudur Rahman, Head, CE, BAUET; Samira Rahman Sinthi, Lecturer, CE, BAUET; LGED officials; and fifteen participating students.
In his address, the Honorable Vice Chancellor expressed sincere appreciation to LGED, Natore for conducting the one-month internship program and conveyed his expectation that such collaborative initiatives would continue in the future. He emphasized that the hands-on knowledge and field-based experience gained during the internship would significantly benefit students in their professional careers, particularly during job interviews and future employment at LGED and similar organizations. He also acknowledged and thanked the Executive Engineer and his team for the ongoing road widening work from Dayarampur to BAUET, highlighting its importance for regional development and improved connectivity.
The Chairperson of the program, Engr Iqbal Hossain, briefly outlined the scope and outcomes of the internship. He noted that the students gained practical knowledge across multiple branches of Civil Engineering, including building construction practices, precast girder bridge works, and various laboratory testing procedures. He further expressed LGED Natore’s commitment to supporting BAUET in future academic and professional collaborations.
The ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates among the participating students, marking the successful completion of the CESIP and reinforcing the strong partnership between BAUET and LGED, Natore in advancing practice-oriented engineering education.
