The Department of Civil Engineering (CE) successfully organized 4th Industrial Advisory Panel (IAP) Meeting on 18 December 2025 with the aim of strengthening academia–industry collaboration and enhancing the quality of engineering education.
The program commenced with a brief presentation on the Department of Civil Engineering, highlighting academic programs, ongoing research activities, and future development plans. This was followed by a visit to the departmental laboratories, where the panel members observed the existing laboratory facilities and discussed possibilities for further improvement and industry relevance.
An interactive session was also held between the Industrial Advisory Panel members and the faculty of the CE Department. The discussion focused on curriculum development, industry expectations, graduate employability, and potential collaboration in research, training, and consultancy.
Distinguished Industrial Advisory Panel members, Dr. Md. Iqbal Hossain, Additional Chief Engineer, Barind Multipurpose Development Authority (BMDA), and Mr. Sudipta Roy, Senior Deputy Manager, Meghna Cement Mills Ltd., were present and shared valuable insights from their professional experience.
Dr. Engr. Md. Mahmudur Rahman, Head of the Department of Civil Engineering, along with the faculty members, were present at the program. Their active participation contributed to meaningful discussions and constructive recommendations. Following the interactive session, the IAP members met with the respected Treasurer of the Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম.
The Department expressed its sincere gratitude to the IAP members for their valuable guidance and reaffirmed its commitment to continuous improvement through strong industry engagement.
