Department of Physics, Faculty of Science
The Department of Physics, under the Faculty of Science at the Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম of Barishal, is committed to excellence in education, research, and innovation. Since its establishment in 2014, the department has aimed to provide high-quality physics education that not only imparts fundamental knowledge of the physical world but also fosters scientific curiosity, analytical ability, and creative thinking among students. The Department of Physics offers both undergraduate (B.S. Honors) and postgraduate (M.S.) programs designed to meet international academic standards. The B.S. program emphasizes conceptual understanding and experimental practice through courses in classical mechanics, electromagnetism, quantum mechanics, thermodynamics, statistical physics, electronics, and materials science and so on. Students gain hands-on laboratory experience and learn data analysis, computational modeling, and scientific communication.
The Master of Science (M.S.) program provides advanced education and research opportunities in specialized fields of physics. Students may choose between a general group and a thesis group, both structured to develop deep theoretical insight and technical proficiency. The program covers a wide range of courses, including Advanced Quantum Mechanics, Condensed Matter Physics, Nanotechnology, Biophysics, Nuclear Physics, Plasma Physics, and Renewable Energy and so on. The thesis group allows students to conduct independent research under faculty supervision, promoting innovation and scholarly contribution.
Research is an integral part of the department’s mission. The various LAB in Dept of Physics serves as the center for advanced studies and investigations in materials science, nanotechnology, biophysics, and solar cell etc. Faculty members and postgraduate students are engaged in collaborative research projects that contribute to scientific progress and address real-world challenges.
