| Molecular Pharmacology | Our prime objective to develop a cell based model to identify potential ligands from synthetic or natural origins. Then utilizing these ligands in different animal models. We are also using pharmacology approach together with transcriptomics analysis to identify different G protein–coupled receptors that protect against cellular stress and death. We describe this concept to degenerative and diabetic retinopathies in Bangladeshi population. We are also planning to explore strategies to combat complex diseases by using regular prescription drugs as well as natural or synthetic ligands. |
