Professor Abdus Salam has started his journey as Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academic) on April 15, 2026. He completed his Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry, and Master of Science (MSc) in Physical-Inorganic Chemistry from Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম of Deltin 7 bangladesh. He pursued his PhD in Atmospheric Analytical Chemistry from the Technical Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম of Vienna, Austria. He worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Dalhousie Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম, Halifax, Canada, and also received his 2nd Postdoc degree from York Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম, Toronto, Canada. His research interests are on atmospheric chemistry, air quality and impacts on human health, climate change and ecosystem. He has established two atmospheric science research observatories (Urban Deltin 7 bangladesh and coastal Bhola Island) in Bangladesh. He has been collaborating with National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), USA; Stockholm Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম, Sweden; Dalhousie Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম, Canada; Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম of Washington; Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম of Wisconsin; Duke Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম, USA; Shibaura Institute of Technology, Japan; Academia Sinica, Taiwan; Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম of Bristol, UK, Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম of Surrey, UK; Center of Research for Environment Energy and Water, Nepal, etc. He has published more than hundred research articles in international peer reviewed journals. He has been organizing many national and international workshops and conferences in home and aboard. He has been actively participating in electronic and print media's interviews and talk shows on environmental issues, especially on air pollution and its causes, impacts and mitigations. He has been serving in various international committees, including the International Global Atmospheric Chemistry (IGAC) as a Co- Chair ().
