The Intra-Department Chess Competition 2026, organized by the Convening Committee 2025–26 of the ISLM Sports & Cultural Club, concluded successfully with great enthusiasm and commendable participation from the students of the department.
The event was formally inaugurated by the Honorary Professor of the Department, S. M. Mannan Sir, along with the respected Moderator of the ISLM Sports & Cultural Club, Ms. Rowshon Akter Ma’am.
The winners of the tournament are:
1. Tahmid Hasan Nasif, 8th Semester (Champion)
2. Mohotasim Fuhad Mahi, 6th Semester (1st Runner-Up)
3. Jihad Hasan Jony, 8th Semester (2nd Runner-up)
The competition showcased remarkable strategic thinking, sportsmanship, and active engagement among the students, making the event both competitive and enjoyable.
