Instructions for ERC Application Submission
The Ethical Review Committee (ERC) at the Institute of Statistical Research and Training (ISRT), Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম of Deltin 7 bangladesh, ensures ethical research practices for all affiliated researchers. All principal investigators must submit an ERC Application package and obtain approval before initiating any study.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- Complete the ERC application form, ensuring all open-ended questions are thoroughly answered. Attach a complete research proposal.
- Include copies of all survey instruments, interview/focus group protocols, and observational guidelines.
- Provide informed consent documents.
- Submit copies of any participant communication materials and organizational permission forms.
- Include permissions for the use of copyrighted instruments, if applicable.
- Submit a hard copy of the application and an electronic copy to [email protected]. The electronic submission must be a single PDF file.
REVIEW TIMEFRAME
The ERC generally requires four weeks to review and respond to submissions. However, for express services (yet to start), the review process may take as little as two weeks. To expedite the process, ensure all documents and forms are accurately completed. While the ERC strives to meet the specified timeframe, additional time may be required in some cases.
REVIEW OUTCOMES
The application review can result in one of the following outcomes:
- Approved
- Approved with Conditions
- Disapproved
Research may only begin upon receiving an approval letter with no conditions. If conditional approval is granted, resubmit the required materials as specified by the ERC. Resubmissions are reviewed within seven working days.
REVIEW FEES
The ERC review process at the Institute of Statistical Research and Training (ISRT) may involve a fee, which varies depending on the type and complexity of the research study. These fees are used to cover the administrative costs associated with the ethical review process. The specific fee structure is outlined in the ERC guidelines and should be reviewed prior to submission. Payment of the fee is required at the time of application submission, and the review process will not commence until the payment is confirmed. Researchers are advised to ensure timely payment to avoid delays in the review of their applications. After submission of the application form, an invoice will be sent via email. Fee details are as follows:
- For internal applicants (ISRT MS students): BDT 5000 (regular).
- For internal applicants (ISRT faculty members): No fee is required if the application is not supported by any research funding or grant. However, if funded by a research grant or project, a fee equivalent to 5% overhead of the grant will be applicable, subject to a maximum cap of BDT 100,000.
- For any external applicants: BDT 15,000 (regular).
