
Master of Science (MS) in Food Microbiology and Safety is a post-graduation degree offered by the Faculty of Nutrition and Food Science, Patuakhali Science and Technology Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম. The degree duration is one and half year (Three semester) and consists 32 credits of compulsory and 8 credits optional courses (Total 40 credit hours). The students will be evaluated through class exams, assignments and final exam in each course of their first two semester and final semester is dedicated for individual research of 10 credits. In first two semesters the students will start their preparatory works for research which consist 6 credits which is evaluated by the research supervisor. An option is also kept for industrial placement of students for learning more practically. The courses are aimed to gather adequate knowledge on Food microbiology along with Safety so that students can apply those in intended fields. Food safety and quality is strictly dependent on its microbial quality keeping that in mind two advanced level quality control and safety management system course has been included in the curricula. The application of microorganisms in a controlled way for production of fermented foods and commercially valuable enzymes, proteins, organic acids etc. also included under Food fermentation and Industrial Microbiology courses. Besides these students will learn microbial and molecular techniques, toxicology and virology, medical microbiology, immunology from their compulsory courses.
