Mission of the Program
M1: Develop knowledgeable critical thinkers who contribute to the nutrition and food
community through leadership, service, and lifelong learning.
M2: Conduct relevant and impactful basic and applied research and provide consultancy
services that proactively address national and global challenges in nutrition and
food science.
M3: Educate the next generation to be leaders who endeavor to test and disseminate
solutions to health threats and problems, and translate research into effective
practices and sound policies.
