Professor Dr. Md. Rubel Mahmud is a faculty member in the Department of Plant Pathology, Faculty of Agriculture, Patuakhali Science and Technology Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম (PSTU), Bangladesh. He earned his BSc (Hon’s) in Agriculture from PSTU, MSc from BAU, Bangladesh and Ghent Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম, Belgium, and PhD from the Institute of Microbiology, Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS). Since joining PSTU in 2010, he has advanced through positions from Lecturer to Professor. His research focuses on plant-pathogen interactions, Innate immunity, biological control, and disease resistance mechanisms. Dr. Mahmud has published several impactful papers in international journals, including studies on rice blast resistance and pathogen effector mechanisms in Arabidopsis. He is actively engaged in advancing sustainable plant disease management and mentoring young researchers in plant pathology.
