Md Rajib Sharker is a dedicated molecular biologist with a focus on fish physiology, genetics and breeding, marine conservation, and neuroendocrinology of aquatic invertebrates. With over 13 years of experience, he has been instrumental in advancing research on molecular biological field such as genomic study of fish and invertebrates, nutrigenomics, and vertebrate and invertebrate physiology.
He earned his PhD degree from Chonnam National Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম and has contributed significantly to molecular biology of abalone species . Md Sharker has authored/co-authored several publications in reputable journals. Also such as serves on the editorial boards of prominent scientific journals including PLOS ONE, Comparative Physiology and Biochemistry Part-B, Discover ocean, Scientific report, Aquaculture nutrition, and PLOS computational Biology. .

Research interest :
1. Exploring optimal dietary formulations for aquaculture species, focusing on how different feed ingredients, supplements, and probiotics influence growth, immune function, and overall health. Research may include investigating the role of essential nutrients, fatty acids, and amino acids in improving fish performance and reducing feed costs.
2. Investigating how environmental stressors (e.g., temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen) affect physiological processes in fish, such as metabolism, osmoregulation, and reproduction.
3. Utilizing genetic and genomic tools (epigenome, transcriptome) to understand nutritional genomics, disease resistance, and breeding programs. Genomic studies may focus on gene expression related to immune responses, growth regulation, or nutrient metabolism in fish, providing insights into improving fish resilience and productivity.
4. Assessing the effects of water quality parameters such as pH, ammonia, nitrates, and pollutants on fish health and aquaculture productivity. Research may also focus on developing strategies to maintain optimal water conditions in aquaculture systems and mitigate the impact of environmental degradation on aquatic species.
5. My research focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms by which heavy metal exposure affects gene expression in fish. Heavy metals such as mercury, cadmium, and lead can disrupt key physiological and developmental processes, leading to toxic effects on aquatic species. I am particularly interested in studying how these metals influence the expression of stress-related, detoxification, and immune response genes in fish species from various aquatic environments. By employing genomics, transcriptomics, and molecular biology techniques, my goal is to elucidate the pathways involved in metal-induced toxicity, assess the potential for adaptation, and contribute to the development of biomarkers for environmental monitoring and conservation strategies in aquatic ecosystems.
