Prof. Dr. Md. Samsuzzaman was born in Jhenaidah, Bangladesh, in 1982. He completed his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from Islamic Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম, Kushtia, Bangladesh, in 2005 and 2007, respectively. He earned his Ph.D. from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2015, specializing in small satellite communication systems and antenna design.
Dr. Samsuzzaman began his academic career as a Lecturer at Patuakhali Science and Technology Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম (PSTU) from 2008 to 2011, later serving as an Assistant Professor at the same institution from 2011 to 2015. He is currently a Professor at PSTU, where he continues his research and teaching. From 2018 to 2020, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, further enhancing his expertise in microwave communication systems.
With over 170 research journal articles, nearly 48 conference papers, and several book chapters to his name, Prof. Samsuzzaman is a leading figure in his field. His research focuses on communication antenna design, small satellite antennas, metamaterials, and microwave imaging, with recent interests also including machine learning. He holds an international patent from his Ph.D. work and has been recognized with numerous research grants from organizations such as the Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম Grants Commission (UGC), the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), and Asia Connect.
His work has earned wide recognition, with over 4,000 citations and an H-index of 36 on Google Scholar. Prof. Dr. Samsuzzaman's contributions have significantly advanced the fields of telecommunications, satellite communication, and microwave technology. His research not only addresses academic challenges but also brings practical solutions to industries such as space exploration, remote sensing, and medical imaging.
