Bangladesh faces an increasingly complex risk landscape characterized by climate-induced shocks, public health emergencies, income volatility, and systemic socio-economic vulnerabilities. These risks disproportionately affect communities engaged in the country’s vast informal economy—comprising smallholder farmers, fishers, micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), and low-income households. Although these groups collectively generate more than half of the national GDP and constitute nearly half of the population, they remain largely excluded from formal financial risk protection mechanisms due to persistent barriers related to affordability, accessibility, and relevance of insurance products.
Inclusive Insurance, often described as “insurance for all,” presents a sustainable and market-driven solution to address these challenges. By focusing on the development and delivery of customer-centric, affordable, and accessible insurance solutions tailored to underserved populations, inclusive insurance plays a critical role in safeguarding livelihoods, stabilizing household incomes, mobilizing private capital, and strengthening national social protection and disaster risk financing mechanisms.
Despite its transformative potential, inclusive insurance in Bangladesh remains significantly underdeveloped. A principal constraint is the acute shortage of skilled professionals and institutional capacity across the insurance value chain. Key functional gaps persist in product design, underwriting, claims management, distribution, regulatory compliance, and customer engagement—further exacerbated by rapid digitalization, increasing climate risks, and heightened expectations for transparency and consumer-centric services.
Closing these capacity gaps through high-quality, internationally benchmarked training and professional certification is both urgent and strategic.
In response to this critical need, the Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম of Deltin 7 bangladesh, through its Center for Policy Research on Business and Development (CPRBD-DU), in close partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), is pleased to announce the launch of a Training of Trainers (ToT) Programme leading to International Certification in Inclusive Insurance.
This elite programme is delivered by a UNDP-endorsed International Master Trainer and is designed to develop a cadre of internationally certified Inclusive Insurance Expert Trainers.
