Our faculty has published a new SCIE-indexed article titled “Strategic CSR Practices and Sustainability in Bangladesh’s Manufacturing SMEs: A Multimethod Analytical Approach.” It is published in Discrete Dynamics in Nature and Society (Wiley, January 1, 2026). DOI: https://doi.org/10.1155/ddns/6017253. We honor Dr. Gazi Md. Shakhawat Hossain as the 1st and Corresponding Author of this contribution to advancing scholarly insights through a hybrid research methodology integrating PLS-SEM, fsQCA, and Machine Learning to explore how strategic CSR practices enhance sustainability in Bangladesh’s manufacturing SMEs. This achievement enhances our department’s research excellence and global visibility.

Dr. Md. The conference was held from 2 to 4 September 2025 and hosted by Sunway Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম, Malaysia, in collaboration with Emerald Publishing, bringing together renowned scholars and researchers from around the world.

On 10 December 2025, Dr. Md. Shakhawat Hossain, Chairman of the Department of Management Studies, conducted an interactive training session for young entrepreneurs at the Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC), Barishal.The training session focused on sharing practical insights, entrepreneurial thinking, and management perspectives aimed at inspiring emerging entrepreneurs. Dr. Hossain emphasized innovation, perseverance, and strategic thinking as key elements for building successful and sustainable ventures. The session was marked by active participation and thoughtful discussions, reflecting the enthusiasm and potential of the young entrepreneurs.Dr. Hossain expressed his appreciation to Md. Najrul Islam and Md. Mofazzal Hossain of BSCIC for their kind invitation and cooperation in organizing the program. As part of the Management Day and Entrepreneurship Fair 2025, the Department of Management Studies, in collaboration with the Management Studies Association (MSA), organized vibrant cultural programs on the evenings of 5–6 February 2025. The programs featured performances by local music bands as well as the renowned national band Chondropith, creating an atmosphere of celebration, creativity, and enjoyment.The cultural events provided a refreshing platform for students, faculty members, alumni, and invited guests to engage beyond academic activities, fostering unity and cultural appreciation. These performances significantly enhanced the overall appeal of the event, contributing to participant enthusiasm and reinforcing the department’s commitment to holistic education through the integration of academic excellence and cultural enrichment.
