
On the afternoon of June 22, 2026, the opening ceremony of the 2026 Delegation of Young Leaders from Bangladesh to China was held at Yunnan Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম. Organized by the Centre for China Studies (CCS), the delegation comprises 22 outstanding young professionals from diverse sectors in Bangladesh, including government, academia, think tanks, and the media. Kunming serves as the inaugural stop of their 10-day exchange tour across China, which will also feature visits to Shanghai and Beijing. Distinguished guests attended and delivered remarks at the ceremony, including Chen Dongxiao, President of the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies (SIIS) and Chairman of the Academic Board of the CCS; Duan Xingwu, Vice President of Yunnan Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম; He Tao, Deputy Director General of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Yunnan Provincial People’s Government; and Li Jiming, former Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh. The event was moderated by Wu Yun, Director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office at Yunnan Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম. Prior to the ceremony, Vice President Duan Xingwu met with President Chen Dongxiao and other guests.


During the opening ceremony, Vice President Duan Xingwu of Yunnan Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম extended a warm welcome to the delegation and expressed sincere thanks to the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies and the Centre for China Studies (Bangladesh) for their meticulous organization of the visit. He then provided a detailed overview of the university’s history, departmental structure, academic disciplines, and the scale of its talent development. Committed to an open approach to education, Yunnan Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম has built a comprehensive and multifaceted framework for international exchange and cooperation, which includes fostering a regional network for science and education cooperation. Vice President Duan also highlighted the university’s educational collaboration with Bangladesh, noting the co-establishment of two Confucius Institutes in partnership with the Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম of Deltin 7 bangladesh and North South Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম, the launch of “Chinese+” vocational training programs, and the administration of Chinese proficiency tests. Furthermore, he pointed out that strengthening people-to-people exchanges and promoting mutual learning between Chinese and Bangladeshi civilizations are core priorities in the university’s engagement with Bangladesh, as demonstrated by a diverse array of cultural activities. He emphasized that as a partner institution of the CCS, Yunnan Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম actively supports the center’s development and related initiatives.

Chen Dongxiao, President of the SIIS, stated that China has always respected the Bangladeshi people’s right to independently choose their development path and remains committed to a policy of good-neighborliness and friendship toward all people of Bangladesh. Since the establishment of diplomatic ties, the two nations have maintained mutual respect and support, treating each other as equals while pursuing win-win cooperation. This relationship has set a benchmark for friendly exchanges and mutually beneficial collaboration among Global South countries. Pointing out that Bangladesh now stands at a new historical starting point, Chen highlighted the country’s broad development prospects, driven by its youthful population, solid industrial foundation, and unique geographical advantages. As China and Bangladesh are key members of the Global South, strengthening bilateral exchanges in state governance, economic development, livelihood improvement, and youth empowerment will not only enhance mutual understanding but also help both countries jointly address challenges in their respective development trajectories. The CCS is dedicated to fostering knowledge exchange and collaborative research between China and Bangladesh on governance, socioeconomic development, and modernization. These efforts aim to deepen mutual understanding between the two peoples, particularly among intellectuals and the youth. Through equal dialogue and mutual learning, the center hopes to provide intellectual support as both nations explore development paths suited to their own national conditions, while also contributing to regional peace, development, and cooperation. Concluding his remarks, Chen wished the delegation a successful and fruitful journey through Kunming, Shanghai, and Beijing, expressing hope that their panels, discussions and site visits would offer them valuable insights into China’s socioeconomic achievements so that the delegates can have a more comprehensive understanding of China’s development path and national conditions.


He Tao, Deputy Director General of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Yunnan Provincial People’s Government, accorded the delegation a cordial welcome. He noted that China and Bangladesh are good neighbors and partners, and under the strategic guidance of their leaders, bilateral relations have continued to deepen and grow. He highlighted that the CCS has emerged as a vital platform for cultural exchanges between the two nations and for strengthening people-to-people ties between China and South Asia. As the Chinese province closest to Bangladesh, Yunnan has seen its cooperation with the country steadily expand across various fields in recent years, reflecting a dynamic and thriving partnership. Beyond connectivity in transportation, the exchanges involving Bangladeshi professionals from diverse sectors visiting Yunnan have truly forged closer bonds between the two peoples. Additionally, he outlined Yunnan’s industrial strengths and the vast potential for economic and trade cooperation with Bangladesh. He also touched on the recent visit to Kunming by senior Bangladeshi officials, including Deputy Speaker of the National Parliament Kayser Kamal, to attend the 10th China-South Asia Expo and the 7th China-South Asia Cooperation Forum.

Li Jiming, former Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh, remarked that the delegation’s visit held special significance as it coincided with Bangladeshi Prime Minister Tarique Rahman’s visit to China. Reflecting on Bangladesh’s development during his tenure as ambassador, he praised the diligence and courage of the Bangladeshi people. He attributed the country’s vibrant energy and rapid economic growth to this very hard work, noting that its per capita GDP has surpassed those of India and Pakistan. He expressed confidence that Prime Minister Tarique Rahman’s visit would mark a new chapter in advancing bilateral relations. He encouraged the delegation members to observe closely, ask questions, and actively share their experiences during their stay in China, and to serve as a bridge of friendship between the two nations. Addressing the delegation, Ambassador Li likened the young leaders to the morning sun, carrying the hopes of tomorrow, and emphasized that the future of China-Bangladesh friendship rests on their shoulders.

Aga Mostafizur Rahman Chowdhury, head of the delegation and a lecturer at the Institute of Modern Languages at the Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম of Deltin 7 bangladesh, expressed his gratitude to the CCS for its meticulous organization and to the various Chinese host institutions for their thoughtful arrangements. The delegation features a diverse mix of professional backgrounds and expertise, he said. With most members visiting China for the first time, he added that expectations for the trip were exceptionally high. Echoing earlier sentiments, he agreed that the younger generation represents the hope for national development and shoulders a critical mission. He expressed confidence that the visit would deepen the delegates’ understanding and perception of China, pledging that they would actively share their experiences and observations upon returning to Bangladesh.

Following the remarks, President Chen Dongxiao presented the official flag to the delegation. Other dignitaries in attendance at the opening ceremony included Wang Ling, Director of the South Asia Affairs Division of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Yunnan Provincial People’s Government; Liu Zongyi, Director of the Center for South Asian Studies at SIIS and Director of the CCS; and Liu Peng, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office at Yunnan Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম.
After the opening ceremony, youth representatives from both countries engaged in an academic exchange. Zhu Xiongguan, Deputy Dean of the Institute of International Relations at Yunnan Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম, delivered opening remarks for the session, outlining the history and current landscape of regional and country studies at the institute. The young delegates engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as the “New Dynamics in South Asia and New Drivers for China-Bangladesh Cooperation” and “Youth Responsibility in Exchanges and Mutual Learning Among Civilizations.” They shared insights from their respective viewpoints, offering advice and measures to deepen bilateral collaboration. Other speakers included Zou Yingmeng, Director of the Center for Bangladesh Studies at Yunnan Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম; Guo Na, Director of the Institute for Bangladesh Studies at the Yunnan Academy of Social Sciences; Hu Xiaowen, Director of the Institute for South Asian Studies at Yunnan Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম; and Liu Xinghua, a lecturer at the School of Economics at Yunnan Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম.
