    5. : , The research focuses on advancing sustainable horticultural production systems through innovative cultivation, propagation, and postharvest technologies. The goal is to integrate modern horticultural science with practical solutions to enhance crop productivity, quality, and resilience under changing environmental conditions. Current research areas: 1. Hydroponic Cultivation of Vegetables: Optimization of soilless culture techniques to improve yield, nutrient use efficiency, and quality of vegetables under controlled and semi-controlled environments. 2. Salinity Tolerance and Grafting Techniques: Development of salinity-tolerant seedlings through strategic grafting combinations and evaluation of rootstock–scion interactions to mitigate abiotic stress in vegetable crops. 3. Application of Biostimulants: Exploration of plant biostimulants to enhance growth, stress tolerance, and overall crop performance, with a focus on integrating eco-friendly solutions into modern horticulture. 4. Production and Storage of Microgreens: Investigation of optimal production practices, nutrient management, and postharvest storage techniques to maximize the nutritional and sensory qualities of microgreens. 5. Postharvest Quality Maintenance: Development of innovative methods for extending the shelf life and maintaining the quality of horticultural produce, emphasizing minimal postharvest losses and improved marketability. This research aims to contribute to sustainable and climate-smart horticultural systems that ensure food security, economic viability, and environmental stewardship.
