The Bachelor of Nutrition and Food Science (NFS) program at Patuakhali Science and Technology Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম was established in 2012 by the esteemed NFS faculty. The program was initiated to meet the increasing need for qualified professionals in the field of nutrition and food science in the region. The program offers a comprehensive curriculum that includes academic courses in various sub-disciplines such as Human Nutrition and Dietetics, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Food Microbiology and Safety, Environmental Health and Sanitation, Community Health and Hygiene, Post-Harvest Technology, and Food Technology and Engineering. Students in this program are exposed to a wide range of topics and research areas related to nutrition and food science, with a focus on global perspectives. The program is designed to provide students with a well-rounded education through a combination of theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and research opportunities. Students have the opportunity to participate in laboratory experiments, conduct research projects, and gain hands-on experience through internships and study tours.
The program aims to prepare students for a range of career opportunities in health departments, schools, community organizations, non-profits, and the food industry, as well as for further studies at the post-graduate level.
The faculty members of the NFS program are renowned experts in their respective fields, coming from diverse backgrounds such as Biochemistry, Nutrition and Food Science, Public Health, Microbiology, Applied Nutrition, Community Nutrition, and Food Technology. Through mentorship, guidance, and practical training, students in the NFS program are well-prepared to make meaningful contributions to the field of nutrition and food science. The faculty of Nutrition and Food Science offers curricula and professional development for students pursuing careers as nutritionists, registered dietitian, health coach, health educator, epidemiologist, nutrition coordinator, food scientist, clinical and therapeutic nutritionist. Employment occurs in community settings, educational institutions, hospitals government agencies, food industries, national and international NGOs. Upon completion of the curricula, students are prepared to pursue professional positions or various advanced degrees.
