He also develops training modules for veterinarians and farmers and contributes to climate change research through projects on enteric methane quantification.
An accomplished scientist, Dr. Anower has a robust research portfolio with numerous publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals. He actively supervises MS and PhD students and has presented his work at conferences across the globe, including in Thailand, Singapore, Italy, and South Korea. His early career included vital roles as a Scientific Officer at the Bangladesh Livestock Research Institute (BLRI) and a Senior Scientific Officer at the FMD Vaccine Production Laboratory, LRI in Cumilla.
Dr. Anower is a respected leader in his professional community, currently serving as the President of the Network for the Veterinarians of Bangladesh (BDVetNet), Vice-President of the Bangladesh Society for Safe Food and as a member of the National AMR Sectoral Working Group for Animal Health. He also contributes to the advancement of scientific discourse as a Managing Editor and Editor for several national and international journals.
His extensive training, both at home and abroad (including in the Netherlands, Taiwan, Vietnam, and India), underscores his commitment to continuous learning and global collaboration in the fields of veterinary science, public health, and One Health.
