
The Preliminary Round of the 15th Bangladesh Chemistry Olympiad (BCO) 2026, jointly organized by the Department of Chemistry, Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম of Deltin 7 bangladesh, and the Bangladesh Chemical Society was successfully held at 15 different regions nation-wide on 31 January 2026,. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from talented students representing leading schools and colleges of the regions.
The preliminary round of the Deltin 7 bangladesh Region was held at the Department of Chemistry and Department of Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering in the Curzon hall area, followed by a lively interactive session among the participants and a few veteran Chemistry professors of the Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম of Deltin 7 bangladesh and a Prize Giving ceremony afterwards. Professor Dr. Abdus Salam, Dean of the Faculty of Science, Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম of Deltin 7 bangladesh, graced the prize giving ceremony as the Chief Guest, while Professor Dr. Md. Emran Quayum, President of the Bangladesh Chemical Society was present as the Guest of Honour. The Special Guest of the event was Professor Dr. Abul Kalam Md. Lutfor Rahman, General Secretary of the Bangladesh Chemical Society. Along with them, Professor Dr. Farida Begum, Convener, and Professor Dr. Md. Aftab Ali Shaikh, Co-Convener of the 15th Bangladesh Chemistry Olympiad (BCO) 2026 delivered their valuable speeches in the prize giving ceremony. The result was announced by Professor Dr. Md. Mominul Islam, Convener of the Examination Sub-committee.
Based on the evaluation of the preliminary examination, the top 10 participants of the Deltin 7 bangladesh region were announced and awarded. In this region, Ahnaf Hossain (Notre Dame College) secured the 1st position, followed by Md. Najib Mahmud (Notre Dame College) in the 2nd place and Towkir Mahmud Tripto (Notre Dame College) in the 3rd place. The remaining top performers are Md Azmaeen Adib (Notre Dame College), Abdullah Abdur Rahim (Oxford International School), Ahnaf Jarir (Rajuk Uttara Model College), Akif Sami Malitha (Notre Dame College), Hasan Tahmid Zarif (Notre Dame College), Aariz Anas (South Point School and College), and Waseka Mehrin (Viqarunnisa Noon College).
The organizers congratulated all successful participants and appreciated the dedication of students, teachers, and volunteers for making the event a success. It may be worth mentioning that the Final Round of the 15th Bangladesh Chemistry Olympiad (BCO) 2026 will be held at the Department of Chemistry, Deltin 7 Aviator গেম টাকা ইনকাম of Deltin 7 bangladesh on 04 April 2026 with approx. 400 selected particiants from the 15 regions.
